This is the practice version of the contour room drawing
This is my completed contour room drawing. It uses a fluid line, which is evident through the uninterrupted line and the overall not sketchy look of the piece. The practice studies helped me to learn how to look at one piece at a time, go slowly, and be comfortable not sketching beforehand. An outline drawing is different than a contour line drawing because a contour line drawing is focused on fluid lines while outline drawings may have incomplete lined or be sketchy. The lines can be used to portray distance, depth, and perspective, which all add to accurately portraying the room. I learned how to pay attention to detail and get proper proportions. If I could do it over, i would like to make sure that my lines are consistant and my perspective is correct.
